SONET/SDH TMS Demo Video

Below is a video that demonstrates the operation of NComm’s SONET/SDH TMS software.

During the demonstration, the TMS software will be built on a 64-bit Linux machine that is connected to an Agilent OMNIBER 37718 test set operating in OC-3 mode. After the software is built, the TMS kernel module will be installed into the Linux Kernel. The Jump Start Application will also be built and will be used to control the demonstration. The system will be using a PMC-Sierra PM8310 device and will show an OC-3 interface with VT1.5 mapping encapsulating a T1 interface. Alarm processing and performance monitoring of the SONET interface as well as the underlying T1 interface will be shown.
